McDermotts has donated £5,000 to international children’s charity, War Child.

Having had a successful year in 2015, we wanted to share this success with a charity that reflected the values of the company.

Recognising the work of War Child, Malcolm McDermott, Managing Director said, “We see images in the media every day of children and their families in dangerous areas of the world. It reminds us of the security we provide for our own children; through no fault of their own, these parents are unable to do that for their children. These families need our support and this donation will allow War Child to continue their good work.”

In 2015, War Child helped 126,459 children catch up from years of lost learning by running education classes wherever possible. We’d like to thank McDermotts for choosing to support War Child. With help like this we can continue to reach even more children in 2016 and stop even more from missing out on their formative years.”
